Imperial Pour-On Fly and Lice Treatment For Cattle And Horses

Tips For Use

General Directions Cattle:

• Imperial Pour-on should be applied last to avoid operator insecticide contact when concurrent treatments occur.
• Operators must wear gloves.
• In a proportion of treated animals, some scruffiness may develop at the site of application.
• In most cases, this scruffiness will disappear within three weeks of the application of this product.
• Apply with recommended applicator.
• The efficacy of this product was not affected by moderate rainfall when tested against cattle lice.

General Directions Horses:

• Trials in horses have shown that treatment with Imperial Pour-on alleviates fly annoyance-related behaviour, including skin flicking, head and tail twitching and feet stamping for up to 7 days. No adverse reactions were reported in horses treated at five (5) times the recommended dose rate.
• The product must dry thoroughly after application before handling the animal.
• If handling or grooming the animal immediately after application is necessary, wear personal protective equipment as indicated in the safety directions on this label.
• Avoid contact with food.

Restraints:

• Horses: Do not use on horses intended for human consumption.

Contraindications:

• Do not use on animals severely stressed or in ill health.
• Do not use on the horse’s head forward of the ears.
• Do not apply as a single spot.

Environmental Protection:

• Dangerous to Fish. Do not contaminate dams, rivers or streams with the pesticide or used containers.

Storage:

• Store below 30°C (room temperature) in the original container, tightly closed in a safe place.

Safety Directions:

• The product is poisonous if swallowed.
• It may irritate the eyes and skin.
• Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
• When using the product, wear elbow-length PVC gloves.
• If the product is on the skin, immediately wash the area with soap and water.
• After use and before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water.
• After each day’s use, wash your gloves.
